Questions before you switch
- Does this touch my Shopify store?
- No. We read the product listing your store already shows to every visitor, the same data a browser sees. We don’t sign in to Shopify, and we never see your orders, customers or payments.
- Could someone else claim my store?
- Anyone can preview a public store, but a preview can’t go live. Before a store built from a preview is published, its owner proves it’s theirs: by importing the products CSV from Shopify admin, or by connecting the store’s own domain. If neither works for you, our team checks by hand.
- Are my product photos copied?
- Not in the preview. Photos load from Shopify’s image servers, so keep your Shopify images available until your media has moved.
- What about customers and orders?
- After you claim the store, bring customers and past orders over from Shopify’s CSV exports in Import data. Nothing is sent to your customers when you do.
- What does Cartly cost?
- Launch is ₹0 a month with a 2% fee on storefront sales, never more than ₹1,499 in a month. Run is ₹1,499 a month with no fee on your sales. Every new store starts with 14 days of Run, no card. Prices include 18% GST. See pricing.
- My store has a password, or thousands of products.
- Password-protected stores don’t show their products publicly, so remove the password or import your products CSV after you sign up. Large stores preview their first 500 products; importing the CSV brings in the rest.
